How Can I Help You?

Basketball players know that hard work can be the secret to success-shoot more jump shots, condition harder and focus on the fundamentals. Good golfers know that repetition and strategy are key to their success. Similarly, companies that work harder and smarter are usually those that “win”. This isn’t to say that sound strategy can make up for a poor product, but a solid plan can definitely position a company ahead of its competitors. Business strategy, like training for sports, has to start from an initial idea, then work its way through the intricacies of competition-from the finest details, to the largest overarching themes. Most importantly, the plan has to include goals, methods to measure success and must be continuously evaluated during implementation.

I help businesses design the plans and strategies that will help them sell their products and services. Most recently, I’ve been helping hundreds of businesses bring their message, product and service to the students and staff at Arizona State University. Each of these businesses has a different “story” to tell-a different plan that needs implemented, and different measurement standards once the strategy has been set in motion. I’ve worked with the largest corporate clients and consulted with the smallest “Mom and Pop” shops to help them develop marketing plans that ultimately bring customers to their business.

When I’m not working with my clients, chances are you’ll find me cheering wildly at an ASU sports event, or searching for my golf ball, everywhere but in the fairway. My resume and contact info is in the upper right corner. So connect with me, and let’s talk about how I can help you.

My education and work history has provided me with a fantastic breadth of knowledge. I’ve written press releases about tiny towns removing underground gas tanks and helped HUGE companies like Best Buy implement their marketing campaigns at Arizona State University. I’ve learned how to use statistics to estimate the profitability of a brand new product and learned two languages. (Does “Accounting” count as a language?)

The pyramid below is my effort to touch on some of the things I’ve learned at various stages of my career. Want specifics? Check out my resume in the upper right corner of this page.
